  • Updates: keep Windows, M365, browsers and business software up to date on a regular schedule.
  • Device standards: enforce screen locks, encryption, multi-factor authentication (MFA) and approved software only.

Data review and reporting

  • Data review and analysis: review and audit internal data for reasonableness, accuracy and completeness. Analyze data for current and future trends.
  • Discrepancy checks: review reports pulled on demand or sent automatically from Nomad's systems, looking for missing or duplicate records, totals that don't reconcile, unexpected spikes or drops, and mismatches between systems.
  • Issue tracking: log every issue found, work with the owning team to trace the root cause and confirm the fix, and send leadership a short monthly data-quality summary.
  • Report generating: use internal systems to generate reporting for operational and client end users.
  • Reporting process: create new or modified reports and set up scheduled report delivery and alerts. Work with the operations team to implement and track key data points, and recommend new or improved reporting methods to raise the quality and completeness of information.

  • Guest and client data protection: help safeguard guest personal details and payment information handled in Nomad systems.
  • Access reviews: check quarterly that staff only have the system access their role needs, especially after role changes.
  • Incident response: be first responder for suspected phishing, viruses, or lost or stolen devices, and follow a written response plan.
