The Minnesota Daily is looking for student photographers who enjoy fast-paced environments, and who’re ready to tell visual stories about the University of Minnesota community.ResponsibilitiesShoots quality photographs and written concise, accurate cutlines (generally four assignments per week)Performs special assignments, when directed by photo editorWorks with Multimedia Editor to hone technical camera skillsMust have an undying respect for deadlines and should demonstrate willingness to learnQualificationsMust be a University of Minnesota studentShould have a portfolio of photography for review, emphasis on news photography preferredMust demonstrate knowledge of photographic equipment and lightingYou *do not* need to be in the journalism school to apply for this position.
