Riverside TV is hiring Production Assistants! Gain real experience in video production working together with a crew on productions for the Village of Riverside.
The Village of Riverside (pop. 9200) is just 9 miles from downtown Chicago and is a National Historic Landmark Community designed by visionary landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. Riverside TV (RTV) produces videos for meetings of the Village of Riverside Board of Trustees School District 96 and for the Township of Riverside. RTV also films many community events like the Riverside Arts Weekend Memorial Day Services Fourth of July Parade Holiday Stroll the annual Party and Concert in the Park and many other creative projects. Most productions occur on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday evenings and occasionally on weekends.
Our Production Assistants operate professional video cameras and edit video programs. They work with professional lighting and sound equipment and as their skills develop have advanced to directing and editing Riverside TV productions.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Applicants considered for employment will need to complete a background check physical and a drug screening to be employed by the Village of Riverside.
Hourly Pay range: $15.44 to $21.84 per hour with starting rate dependent on experience.
